The Lions Club of Tenterfield is a group of local volunteers committed to strengthening their community and making a difference where it is needed most. As part of Lions Clubs International, the Tenterfield Lions proudly carry the motto We Serve and focus their efforts on both local and wider needs.
The club meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, bringing together members who share a common interest in service, friendship and community spirit. Through a variety of fundraising events, BBQs, raffles and school activities, the club raises funds and awareness for important causes. These include support for local families, youth programs, medical research, vision and hearing projects, as well as initiatives to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Tenterfield Lions play a vital role in connecting people and resources, whether it is providing food relief, contributing to local infrastructure projects or supporting national campaigns like Lions Eye Health and Childhood Cancer research. Members also lend a hand in times of crisis, working to ensure no one in the community is left behind.
