We are a not-for-profit community services organisation delivering services across several regions of New South Wales and South East Queensland.
We work in partnership with individuals, families and communities to support them to reach their goals and achieve meaningful outcomes through inclusive, strengths-based and person-centred approaches.
One of the services we deliver is the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) in the New England region.
The ACVVS connects trained volunteers with older people who may be socially isolated or lonely, providing regular visits that build genuine friendships and improve wellbeing.
This FREE program helps to reduce loneliness, supports mental health, and enhances quality of life for participants, while also offering meaningful and rewarding experiences for volunteers.
We’re currently recruiting for volunteers (of any age (over 18), gender or background), and participants. If you’d like to be involved, please fill out the expression of interest form here to become a volunteer, or if you or someone you know would like to be a participant in the scheme and receive a weekly visit, please fill out the form here.
