    From humble beginnings as a hardware store established in Werris Creek, New South Wales, Pursehouse Rural have expanded to 25 Queensland, operating under the Pursehouse Rural brand.

    Today, Pursehouse Rural branches offer ag related products and services to our customers including agronomy services, seed, fertiliser, agricultural chemical, general merchandise, hardware, feed and produce.

    Pursehouse Rural remains a family owned and operated business. Established by Fred Pursehouse over 60 years ago, the Company is today ran by his Malcolm Pursehouse (Managing Director). Pursehouse Rural is an Australian-owned independent agribusiness.

    Pursehouse Rural understand the requirements of the farming communities they service across the New England as many of our employees are farmers themselves, invested in their local farming communities.

    From our management through to our branch employees, we are rooted in our local rural communities. Our head offices are located in Quirindi on the Liverpool Plains, and we remain committed to the local farming communities that we service.
